Kim Jong Kook Takes Kim Soo Hyun’s Role in “The Moon That Embraces the Sun” on “Running Man”

Singer Kim Jong Kook transformed into actor Kim Soo Hyun.

On the episode of “Running Man” that aired on September 21, the cast participated in the “Find the Chaebol Race.” In this episode, actresses Lee Yoo Ri, Choi Yeo Jin, Yoo In Young, Seo Woo, and Kim Min Seo appeared as guests.

On this day, Kim Jong Kook was paired up with Kim Min Seo before the game “Destroy the Evidence of Anger,” and Kim Jong Kook showed off his sageuk acting. Kim Min Seo played the queen, Kim Soo Hyun’s wife, in MBC’s “The Moon That Embraces The Sun.” Kim Jong Kook took Kim Soo Hyun’s role as he showed off his acting.

For his genuine acting, Kim Jong Kook turned his hat into a gamtu (the headgear Joseon officials wore), causing laughter. Kim Min Seo didn’t waver seeing Kim Jong Kook and displayed her emotional acting, receiving applause afterwards.

Lee Kwang Soo Wants to Introduce Ji Chang Wook to His World of Lies on “Running Man”

On the most recent episode of “Running Man,” the members and guests continued the two-part “Number Race – 1470” special. For the last mission, which they carried out in the children’s science center, each team had to obtain numbers and/or operators in 30 minutes to bring their initial value of 1470 down to zero. If they failed to do so, they would have to travel to Taiwan to ride their scariest roller coaster as punishment.

Many of the members have been known to be scared of heights, Yoo Jae Sukand Lee Kwang Soo being worst out of all of them. So all of the players did whatever they could to win—Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo hid the number cards in their pants while Gary hid them in a trash can.

Soon Lee Kwang Soo and Ji Chang Wook came face to face with Ji Suk Jinand Song Eun Yi. Lee Kwang Soo, like always, attempted to use some trickery and suggested that they bargain with numbers. Song Eun Yi then asked them if they had the number seven. Lee Kwang Soo nonchalantly responded that they did have a seven. However, innocent Ji Chang Wook next to him said, “What are you talking about, hyung? We don’t have a seven.” Ji Suk Jin and Song Eun Yi eventually left knowing that it was another one of Kwang Soo’s trickeries.

Meanwhile, on this episode, 2AM’s Im Seulong paired with Song Ji Hyo, Skullwith Haha, Ailee with Gary, Lee Sung Jae with Yoo Jae Suk, Song Eun Yi with Ji Suk Jin, Kim Tae Woo with Kim Jong Kook, and Ji Chang Wook with Lee Kwang Soo. Has anyone seen the episode yet?
